When we blame external situations, other people or even God for our current state of mind, we cease to take responsibility of our own creation – our thoughts, feelings, words and actions. Circumstances are only a stimulus, and response is always our creation.

My feelings/emotions wrt other people
"I am a POWERFUL BEING.
I am the creator of my feelings
Irrespective of the stimulus
No one can hurt me
I create my every emotion
And I always have a choice
I forgive myself
By not blaming them for my hurt.
I take personal responsibility
I heal myself...I forgive myself."

Ultimate Reality
"For Gandhi, truth is the relative truth of truthfulness in word and deed, and the absolute truth - the Ultimate Reality. This ultimate truth is God (as God is also Truth) and morality - the moral laws and code - its basis. Ahimsa, far from meaning mere peacefulness or the absence of overt violence, is understood by Gandhi to denote active love - the pole opposite of violence, or "Himsa", in every sense. The ultimate station Gandhi assigns nonviolence stems from two main points. First, if according to the Divine Reality all life is one, then all violence committed towards another is violence towards oneself, towards the collective, whole self, and thus "self"-destructive and counter to the universal law of life, which is love. Second, Gandhi believed that ahimsa is the most powerful force in existence. Had himsa been superior to ahimsa, humankind would long ago have succeeded in destroying itself. The human race certainly could not have progressed as far as it has, even if universal justice remains far off the horizon. From both viewpoints, nonviolence or love is regarded as the highest law of humankind."

cognitive abilities of Brain
What are cognitive abilities and skills, and can we boost them?
Cognition has to do with how a person understands the world and acts in it.
It is the set of mental abilities or processes that are part of nearly every human action while we are awake.
Cognitive abilities are brain-based skills we need to carry out any task from the simplest to the most complex.
They have more to do with the mechanisms of how we learn, remember, problem-solve, and pay attention, rather than with any actual knowledge.
For instance, answering the telephone involves perception (hearing the ring tone), decision taking (answering or not), motor skill (lifting the receiver), language skills (talking and understanding language), social skills (interpreting tone of voice and interacting properly with another human being).
