chose company wisely

Stay away from negative people, they have a problem for every solution. You should always limit your time with people that continually drain your energy and add no value to your life. Negative people are usually very committed, to being negative, and the more you push them to be anything else, the more they will push back. This doesn’t mean you show no compassion towards others. Live with compassion. Live with empathy. Do all that as a standard practice of being a decent human being, but keep your life free from the drama and negativity that is not who you are.
If your attempts to lift someone out of negativity are unsuccessful, you have to move on. They will get to a better place when they’re ready to get to a better place and no one will get there if they’re not ready, whether they are pushed or not.
The people in your life should be reducing your stress, not causing more of it. If you consider yourself to be a positive person and want to live your best life, surround yourself with positive people. Surround yourself with people that make you feel good about being yourself. Surround yourself with people that see the good in the world. By doing so, you will see more good too. You will attract more good. Don’t let them drain your energy. Energy doesn’t discriminate. Just like weight lifting, If you focus on getting one body part stronger, and you put all your energy, focus and effort on that muscle group, working on it every day, that muscle will get stronger. If you put all your energy into negative people, your life will be negative.
If your attention is on what's wrong with your life, If your attention and energy is on the negative people and the negativity they bring, that will invade your life. Keep your focus on what is good and you will see more good. More good will grow just like a muscle. The same is true on the opposite side. If you lie down with negativity, you will be consumed with negativity. You are what you eat and you are who you spend your time with by choice. What you consume will consume you. Your friends and peer group are a great reflection of you because you chose them. Choose wisely.
Don’t chase people. Be Yourself. Do your own thing and work hard. The right people, the ones who really belong in your life will come to you and stay. πŸŒ·πŸŒˆ

winning love of shiva

Shivaratri ~ Union of ShankarParvati! The divine union which takes place when Shiva comes to meet Shakti represents enlightenment in absolute darkness! ShivaShakti, the Union of heart and mind. The two who are one, ShankarParvati, the soul and energy in the working. The soul is the consciousness, The mind is the matter. Shiva, the soul and Parvati, the mind. Sati loved Shiva to the core and being his wife became her motto. She left the pampered life of the family palace and retired to the forest to worship Shiva. She worshipped him day and night with her rigorous penance.
Although Daksha called Shiva uncivilised, a destroyer of all things respected in culture, Sati married Shiva anyway.
But after Sati immolated herself in fire Shiva isolated himself amongst the snow covered peak of Kailasha. He rejected the world outside as so distraught was he after the loss of his first true love. Immersed in mediation, he performed great tapas that produced heat and energy. His mind was filled with great knowledge, and his body became resplendent with energy but all this energy and knowledge bottled within his being was of no use to anyone. "I will coil myself around Shiva, wean out his energy and knowledge for the good of the world and make him father a child," said Shakti!
Shakti took birth as Parvati. The first word that Parvati uttered was SHIVA. She was determined to draw Shiva out of his cave and make him her consort. "this unshakable heart knows no other feeling than love. Those whose goals are set don't care about criticism." It was after a lot of penance that Parvati won the love of Shiva and married him. Parvati is referred to as the symbol of love and devotion. She is also referred as as the embodiment of devotion in a marriage and is known to have reduced the anger of Shiva immensely through her affection. Their love is honest and equal. It balances male and female, spirit and matter! Shiva is able to function when united with Shakti, otherwise he is inert.!!

thankyou god for Life

The world is not all sunshine and rainbows! But a good amount of it actually is. It’s not always a very happy, care-free life where you have just about everything you want.
In the larger spectrum of life, yes, you will go through things you couldn’t imagine. There will be days where you absolutely want to just scream into a pillow and maybe sleep all day. But there will be more days when you absolutely fall in love with being alive. Your favorite song will come on the radio and you’ll have an iced coffee in your hand and your best friend next to you singing along, and you will realize life is SO good. What a privilege it is to be alive, to breathe, to think, to feel, to enjoy, to experience love. Each moment is a gift. Enjoy it, because we do not know what the future will bring.
Even though life can be very hard sometimes, but that’s okay because life is amazing! No one has a perfect life, but happy positive people focus on the good rather than dwell on the negative. Know that life is really a reflection of our thoughts; our thinking becomes our emotions, and our emotions become our character. Focus on the good. Concentrate on the positive. We are so blessed and even though there will be thunderstorms in your life, there will be way more rainbows and butterflies and flowers in your life and the good will absolutely outweigh the bad. So Stay positive and be thankful to God for the gift of life. !

Beautiful explanation of 3 types of karmas

KARMA & SURRENDER !
To attain freedom from the bondage of illusion (maya) and the cycle of birth an death, it is necessary to purify the mind stuff (chitta). It is advised to perform all karma for God, to give up and offer everything, mind intellect wealth time, to God, is the secret of Love.
1- Sanchita Karma is the sum total of past accumulated karmas. One lifetime is most often not enough to experience all the Sanchita Karma, and hence the soul reincarnates, or continues to come back to earth. However, it is possible for one to gain control and exhaust Sanchita Karma by clearing one’s karmic debt.
2- Prarabdha Karma is that subset of the Sanchita Karma that is ripe and ready to be experienced in this lifetime. Prarabdha means something that has already started. It cannot be removed or controlled. It can only be experienced, there is no other way around it.
3- Agami Karma is the karma that is being created and accumulated in the present to be experienced in the future.
When karma is performed with dedication and surrender, the basis being love for God, the result is detachment and renunciation of the fruits of karma. As there is no attachment, there is no accumulation of impressions, and previous accumulations do not gain any strength and fructify as destiny. Thus existing prarabdha is exhausted after bearing its fruit. In this way actions done with a sense of surrender and dedication help purify chitta and put a brake on the wheel of karma.

keep the confidence,drop mistrust

When you are tempted to give up waiting on Shiva's timing, remember why you have held on for so long. His plans are always best. Keep holding on. Everything that Shiva allows to come your way is always with a purpose. He uses even the greatest error and deepest pain to mold us into a better person. A gem cannot be polished without friction, nor a man perfected without trials. Just like gemstones are polished by grinding and cutting, similarly, we are perfected through the learning process, obstacles, difficulties, and trials. Our life becomes better, Not bitter, with hard experiences. Every Experience is a teacher. Learn from it. During hard times you may not know where you are heading. Have patience. When you feel like giving up, Always look back at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. If you have made it till here, you sure will make it in the future as well. Have faith. Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Always trust HIM, no matter how low you are brought, how bad things may get. Shiva is with you. Difficult times are brought to us for our good. Look at the difficult times in your past and notice that good has come from every one of them. So Trust that you will be okay no matter what happens. Shiva hears your prayers and He WILL help you through it. When you can't put your prayers into words, HE hears your heart!! shiv tatva

Sage Vyasa, the author of mahabharata, mentions that Lord Shiva is smaller than the sub-atomic particle like Proton, Neutron and Electron. At the same time, he also mentions Lord Shiva is greater than anything greatest. He is the cause of vitality in all living things. Everything, whether living or non-living, originates from Shiva. He has engulfed the whole world. He is Timeless. He has no birth, no death. He is invisible, unmanifest. He is the Soul of the Soul. He has no emotion, sentiment or passion at all. There is a mysterious or indescribable power in Shiva to induce concentration of the mind and helps focus one’s attention.
Lord Shiva is beautifully explained in a verse by Adi Shankaracharya also.
Adyantahinam - One without a beginning or end. Sarvada - He is the Bholenath (innocent ruler of all) who is present everywhere all the time. We think Shiva is somewhere else sitting with a snake around his neck. Shiva is one in whom everything has taken birth, who encompasses everything right this moment, and in whom everything in creation dissolves. Every form you see in this creation is all his form.
He permeates the entire creation. He is never born and has no end. He is eternal. He is the fourth state of consciousness, the turiya avasta, the meditative state, that is beyond the waking, deep sleep and dream states. He is the non-dual consciousness that is present everywhere. That’s why to do Shiva puja, you have to dissolve in Shiva yourself. Being Shiva, you do Shiva puja.
Chidananda rupa - He is the consciousness that is pure bliss.
Tapo yoga gamya - One who can be known through tapa and yoga. The Shiva tattva can be experienced in the knowledge of the Vedas. The state of Shivoham (I am Shiva), Shiva kevaloham (there is only Shiva) is attained. Shivratri is the day to experience a wave of joy and contentment. Without yoga, Shiva can’t be experienced. Yoga doesn’t mean only asanas (physical postures) but that experience of Shiva tattva which happens with meditation, pranayam: when that ‘WOW’ happens from within.! πŸŒ·πŸ“ΏπŸ•‰πŸ‘πŸ”±πŸπŸ’€

coming out of karmic bondage

  coming  out  of karmic bondage

The karma you are experiencing now is Prarabdha Karma. It is like an arrow that has been shot from the bow – no force can stop it from hitting its target. This karma has started bearing fruit. You have to experience this or “taste” the fruits of your past actions. If the karma is positive, it is called good karma and the fruit will be sweet and tasty. If the karma is negative, it is called bad karma and the fruit will be bitter or even toxic. With the exception of Divine Grace altering our paths, we cannot avoid the experience of our own karma. However, there are ways in which we can handle it better.

1- Accept responsibility.

The first step towards healing yourself from bad karma is to take full and absolute responsibility for where you are in life. Yes, life may seem unfair at times, it may appear that forces beyond your control are dictating your life and that you are helpless in face of everything around you. Yet, despite this, you and only you are responsible for your life and your karma; not anyone or anything outside of you is responsible for it. Even if you do not understand the ways of the Universe, place your trust that it is doing the right thing. Acceptance alone sets into motion the healing process and puts you in a better position to deal with your karma. As you progress on the spiritual path towards Self-realization, you will recognize your ability to influence your own life events.

2- Know that you do not need to resign to your karma.

Everything in your life is in accordance with the law of karma. Every action of the past has already created a result in the form of karma, and it is unfolding in your life right now. But even though the consequences have already been pre-determined in accordance with the causes, it does not mean that your life is pre-determined. Self-effort in dealing with karma plays a critical role in shaping your life. You can deal with the karmic cards you are dealt with more gracefully and even turn your apparent bad karma to your advantage.

3- Stop accumulating new (negative) karma.

If you find yourself in a deep hole which you want to get out of, you need to stop digging the hole deeper. As long as you are existing in the day-to-day realities of modern life, you cannot avoid performing actions. And your actions will have karmic consequences. Then, how is it possible for you to not accrue any further karma, good or bad? The only way you can do it is by detaching yourself from the desire for the action, from the action, and from the outcome or results of the action. Offer the deed that you do to the Supreme Lord, to the Universe, to your higher Self. Do what you need to, but don’t identify yourself as the doer, and with the doership. By consistently detaching yourself from your actions and their outcomes, you are setting yourself free from any further karma.

4- Strike at the root cause of bad karma.

If you can take full responsibility for your karma, you will also realize that you are the creator of your own karma. The bad karma you may be experiencing has its roots deep inside of you, in your past conduct. These are the obstacles or enemies residing within you, that are creating negative karmas. If you can acknowledge this, you are already on your way to deal with negative karma. By willful intentions and actions, you can destroy your inner enemies.

5- Eliminate situations and relationships that sustain negative cycles.

As you go about your life, you may find yourself in situations or relationships that are negative and cyclical. These cycles must be broken or they will continue to contribute to your life negatively. You may have hesitated to walk away from such situations or relationships because either you did not recognize them as such or you feel obligated to not walk away. Unemotionally and peacefully evaluate what is working for you and what is not, and after attempting to resolve the situation, you may need to walk away from what is not serving you. You need not have a conflict in your heart about this. Only when you are able to serve your Self can you help others, so take care of your Self.

6- Seek forgiveness and forgive others.

Do you carry ill-will or anger towards anyone? Is that anger because you feel the other person has wronged you? As long as you harbor negative feelings towards anyone or anything, you continue to attract negative karma and energies in an endless loop. To break this cycle you must let go of your own anger and hatred, you will find yourself more at peace within yourself.

Sometimes, you may find that you hold anger towards yourself. It is even more important to be kind towards yourself, and forgive yourself, and treat yourself with love.

It is also possible that you may have wronged others knowingly or unknowingly in this lifetime or past ones. In your heart, seek forgiveness from those people and their souls. Sincerely and heartfully ask for forgiveness. By seeking forgiveness and forgiving, you are cutting off the karmic shackles and freeing yourself from the bonds that tie you to the cycle of life and rebirth.

Maintain a positive attitude towards everything and everyone in your life. Do good and be good to yourself and others.
